A prescription from your doctor is recommended for a rehabilitation programme and for any reimbursement, but some wellbeing treatments don't require one. If unsure, contact the practice.
A session usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the specialty and protocol. The first session, which includes the assessment, may be slightly longer.
It starts with a full assessment: listening to your reason for consulting, a clinical examination, and setting goals. The rehabilitation protocol is then established and the first treatment begins.
It depends entirely on your condition. Some issues resolve in a few sessions (e.g. positional vertigo), others require longer follow-up. An estimate is given after the assessment.
Your prescription if you have one, any recent imaging (X-rays, MRI, reports) and comfortable clothing that lets you move easily.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Depending on the area treated, shorts or a tank top can help with access and movement.
